Legal Training and Seminars

Did you know last year there were over 83,000 employment tribunal claims with businesses spending on average £8,500 to defend a single claim?  In today’s litigation culture, it is important that managers and staff are aware of what is expected of them in the workplace.  We offer training and seminars to businesses on all areas of employment law, covering advice at all levels from Board level, HR professionals, managers to all staff.

What do you provide during your legal training and seminars?

  • We attend your offices so you do not need to travel (Solicitor).
  • The training is bespoke to your requirements and supports your existing policies.
  • Handouts are provided so there is a reference guide to refer back to (employment solicitor Bristol).
  • The legal training / seminar can either be a couple of hours or a whole day, whichever works best for you.

What topics would benefit my business during legal training?

There is a whole array of seminars that can be offered, the present popular requests cover:

  • Handling disciplinary and grievances.  Managers are the forefront of dealing with employee issues so we cover training on how to deal with disciplinaries and grievances to prevent unfair and constructive dismissal claims.
  • Equality in the workplace.  All staff can benefit from attending equality training to seek to prevent allegations of discrimination
  • Data protection is changing so we can train senior managers and directors on the requirements of the new General Data Protection Regulation
  • Employment law updates.  This field is ever changing with regular case law decisions (such as worker status, holiday pay) so this covers a summary of the present changes to be aware of.

How much do your legal seminars and training it cost?

We offer fixed fees so you can control your spend and prices are subject to the amount of training required.  Want to find out more, please contact us for a no obligation discussion:
